Hospice Volunteers are needed to provide support for patients of Samaritan Care Hospice. Companionship volunteers are needed to spend time with our patients and their family members. Companionship volunteers provide support and encouragement to our patients, and also provide much needed respite to the patient's family members when necessary. Samaritan Care Hospice is located in Southfield, Michigan and volunteers are needed to provide support to our patients throughout the communities of Southeastern Michigan.
Those interested in providing this support must attend ten hours of Hospice Volunteer Training prior to their first patient assignment.
