The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a thrift store operated to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Bulloch County. Opened in 1996 as the Habitat Home Shop,the store has generated more than $400,000 in sales to help build affordable homes. To celebrate the store's 10th anniversary, in August 2006, it was renamed the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, joining other affiliates nationwide in using the ReStore name.

Recycling Center Beautification

Hands On Ogeechee will coordinate teams of 10-12 who will adopt a Bulloch County Solid Waste & Recycling Center. Groups will create a garden space at one of 14 recycling centers in the county. Groups will also conduct a roadside cleanup of litter adjacent to the recycling center.

This project is coordinated in partnership with Keep Bulloch Beautiful.

Roadside Cleanups

Red Ribbon Week

Join Hands On Ogeechee as we help prepare ribbons and promotional materials for the upcoming Red Ribbon Week activities.

This project is coordinated in partnership with the Drug Free Communities Coalition of Bulloch County, a program of the Bulloch County Commission on Human Services, and the Bulloch Alcohol and Drug Council.

Tailgate Recycling

Join Keep Bulloch Beautiful for their third season of tailgate recycling at all Georgia Southern Eagles' home football games.

Each week, volunteers pass out blue recycling bags to tailgaters for their cans and bottles. Tailgaters simply fill the bag, close it and leave it by their parking space. After the game, the bags are collected by volunteers.

Volunteers should meet behind the Bishop fieldhouse two hours before game time for a brief training. Groups of volunteers are still needed for all games.

Jena 6 @ Georgia Southern

CCAT Youth Action Team

Youth Action Centers are operated within high schools and community organizations to provide service and leadership opportunities for all students. Our Youth Action Centers are a hybrid of Hands On affiliate models and the United Way volunteer center model. At the centers, high school students initiate, plan, promote and implement community service projects in conjunction with a school advisor and other school clubs.
