Of the many projects, Hands On Atlanta will be hosting two service projects at John F. Kennedy Middle School and Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School in cooperation with Hands On Schools.

Hands On New Orleans is Partnering with Interfaith Works and the Fredrick Douglass Community Coalition to bring to the area a week-long celebration of the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This event will include an interfaith dinner, civil rights film screenings, a book giveaway to children, civil rights-themed workshops, and two days of service, on Saturday, January 19th, and on MLK Day itself, January 21st.

On Saturday, January 19, 2008, Hands On Miami will remember Dr. Martin Luther King’s message at the sixth annual Martin Luther King Day Celebration. WE NEED YOU!!! This year, Hands On Miami is striving for 900 volunteers to beautify and revitalize the facilities of Allapattah Middle School and the Optimist Club, an inner-city grassroots organization providing after-school programs and activities to at-risk youth from underserved areas of Miami-Dade County.
