Hands On Network

Seattle Works and Hands On Schools will host a Martin Luther King Jr. day project at West Seattle Elementary School on January 21, 2008. During the project, students, school staff, parents, and community members will all work together to enhance the school facilities and positively impact teaching and learning environments. 
The intended outcomes of the project include highlighting the arts education program by creating physically improvements to the art room and creating a performance stage. Additionally, the school will benefit from fresh paint in vibrant colors in the stairwells, classrooms, hallways and community rooms. More projects are still in the planning phase.
